Cookiebid Overview

1. All Users must be over 16 years of age.

2. A User can bid via mobile phone SMS or via on-line account.

3. Payment for goods won is made on-line using ‘User Account’, where a PDF invoice can also be found.

4. Cookiebid endeavours to process delivery of all goods the day following receipt of payment. But please allow up to 28 days to receive  the items.

5. Bids are purchased via PayPal, Credit or Debit cards. Bids and goods purchased via Paypal e-cheques will have delayed delivery as clearance can take 7-10 working days.

6. Cookiebid runs four types of auctions. Regular, Credit Cruncher, Virgin Bidders and Bid 4 Free.

A. Regular Auction: Every auction has a countdown timer, usually set between 20 sec and 3 minutes. When the timer reaches zero, the highest bidder has won. Every time someone bids, the timer restarts. Bids only ever increase by 1 penny at a time. You can bid by SMS (text message) from your UK mobile or through your Cookiebid on-line account. Use of Autocookie is allowed.

B. Credit  Cruncher: This auction is exactly the same as the regular auction except no Autocookie bids are allowed. These auctions tend to be very fast and some great bargains can be had. But we suggest you only enter these once you have gained some experience in our Virgin Bidders and Regular auctions.

C. Virgin Bidders: These auctions run exactly the same as as our regular auctions but all the products tend to be lower value items and therefore are less attractive to our experienced bidders. Consequently these are great auctions for new bidders to learn their skills on with an excellent chance of winning.

D. Bid 4 Free: Again these auctions run exactly the same as our regular auctions, except that for these auctions the bids are completely free of charge. The winner has the right to buy the goods for the auction closing price including VAT (plus delivery and handling).  Use of Autocookie is not allowed on Bid 4 Free auctions.

7. Cookiebid auctions have three States;

A. Live Auctions: These are auctions that are currently running and are open for bids.

B. Coming Auctions: Keep a sharp eye on these as they can become live at any time.

C. Future Auctions: Shows you some of the items we have lined up to enter the auctions in the near future.

8. There are currently no limits set as to the number of auctions each User can win.

9. We endeavour to process delivery of each item the day after payment for the goods. But please allow up to three weeks to receive ,the item as we are sometimes reliant on third party delivery agents. No item can be tracked until 21 days have passed.

10. E-mail us a photo of yourself with the product you have won and get 15 free bids. E-mail to sales@cookiebid.com. This offer is only open to winners of tangible goods and does not apply to winners of bid packages. You can only claim under this offer once.
